Meeting with the representatives of People's Congress and People's Political Consultative Conference on Feb 26, 2021

The COVID-19 outbreak has spread globally and Hong Kong all industries are affected, especially the travel industry. The Hong Kong Travel Agents' Relief Alliance and the Federation of Hong Kong Hotel Owners had a meeting with the representatives of People's Congress and People's Political Consultative Conference, Mr Ma Fung Kwok, Mr Lo Sui On and Mr Liao Cheung Kong, Mr Yick Chi Ming and Mr Tse Wai Chuen.

We brought the matters up to the People's Congress relating to “increase vaccine supply” and the "opening of land borders" through the HK Representatives at the Congress Meeting scheduled in Mar 2021. Mr Ma responded that they understand the travel industry’s difficulties, and bring up those matters to the Congress in order to resume cross-boundary movement of people and tourism activities.
