We are thrilled to share updates from our recent behind-the-scenes visit to Kai Tak Sports Park and congratulation to the opening of our member hotel Dorsett Kai Tak, Hong Kong, this visit was organized by LegCo member Perry Yiu's office.  This visit marks an important step as we prepare for Federation’s member collaboration with Kai Tak Sports Park in anticipation of its opening in 2025. 

Key Highlights:
Test Runs and Preparations: As part of the preparations for the launch of Kai Tak Sports Park in 2025, several 'test runs' events in Q4 and early 2025 will be conducted to ensure its readiness.  

Confirmed Events: Exciting events, including the Hong Kong Sevens (Rugby) will take place from 28 - 30 March 2025.  and Coldplay concert from 9 - 12 April, with tickets going on sale this month, are already confirmed. More events are in the pipeline, promising a vibrant calendar ahead.

Member Requests: the Federation has received requests from our members for exchanges and visit with tourist destinations like Kai Tak Sports Park. We are actively working on organizing these exchanges in the near future to facilitate meaningful collaborations.

Concerts in Hong Kong!!
Additionally, we are excited about the concerts happening in Hong Kong! For your reference, we have attached the HKTB 2024 Concert Calendar, showcasing upcoming events up to March 2025. You can access it here. (also attached in this email)

Additionally, the government's mega event calendar is available on BrandHK website (last updated by gov on 15 August).  The Federation will continue to remind and encourage the government to update the list for hotel trade so we can better prepare for 2025 and onward.
