The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) are pleased to announce that the Special Funding Support Programme for Small-sized Corporate Meeting and Convention Groups for Hotels (the “MC Funding Scheme for Hotels”) will be extended to 31 Mar 2025. 

To support the hotel industry in the speedy recovery of their MICE business post-pandemic, the Hong Kong Tourism Board launched the MC Funding Scheme for Hotels in March 2023. Through this initiative, licensed hotels can receive financial aid to attract more small and medium-sized corporate meetings and conventions to Hong Kong. 

Since the launch of the MC Funding Scheme for Hotels, HKTB has received a positive response from the industry and has observed an increasing trend in funding applications.  Members are cordially invited to attend a briefing session that will introduce the scheme’s streamlined application and approval processes, enhanced based on feedback received from participating hotel partners. 

New applicants and those already familiar with the scheme are welcome to attend the session, either in-person or online.
