The Federation met with Mr Jeff SZE Chun-fai, the Under Secretary for Education and representatives from the Education Bureau; led by the Hon Perry Pak-leung YIU, Legislative Council Member (Travel Industry); together with Mr Andrew LEUNG, Chairman of Travel Industry Training Advisory Committee, Mrs Gianna HSU, Chairman of Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong (TIC), Mr Jason WONG, Honorary Advisor of TIC and Ms Fanny YEUNG, Executive Director of TIC to discuss strengthening talent training for Hong Kong's tourism and hospitality industry.
With tourism being a pillar of our economy, it's crucial we nurture a skilled workforce to meet the demands of this thriving sector. During our engaging discussion, we exchanged views to enhance education training for roles like hotel managers, hospitality professionals, tour guides and more.

It was invigorating to explore collaboration with the Education Bureau on the future of talent development. By working together with the government, the Federation believe Hong Kong's tourism education will continue setting the gold standard.
