We wish to draw members’ attention to the announcement by the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) on 20 April 2026 regarding the launch of the Expression of Interest (EOI) exercise for the SKYTOPIA Yacht Bay project at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).
The Yacht Bay is one of the core components of SKYTOPIA and will comprise three major water-themed elements:
- Airport Bay Marina – Hong Kong’s largest marina, with over 500 berths for vessels up to 100 metres in length
- Marine Resort – a hotel development with direct marina access, together with dining and leisure offerings along a waterfront promenade
- Aquatic Entertainment Area – a large-scale water recreation and entertainment zone for visitors of all ages
According to AAHK, the project will integrate with SKYTOPIA’s wider offerings in entertainment, art, convention and exhibition, food and beverage, and tourism, supported by HKIA’s sea-air-land connectivity.
AAHK is inviting submissions from international partners with relevant experience in marina development and operations, yacht services, hospitality, tourism, and large-scale mixed-use projects.
